Ok, so I haven't uploaded any drawings or anything for a while, so today I'll show you some of my recent drawings in my diary and explain their meaning and stuff..
First off we have this one:
This one as you could probably guess... I drew because of my recent break up emotions.. I used pon and zi as inspiration, and made it my own.
I drew this one because it was raining... and kinda to represent how everyone has days where they just can't win. and they feel like everything is going wrong for them... so this one was kinda inspired by rain.. xD
This one was inspired by the cartoon icons again... I'm really getting into them and am really liking them... so yeah. xD
I have a outfit very similar to this, so that inspired me with the clothing choices.
So for this one I got super bored and didn't know what to draw... so I drew what was in front of me, which were my legs and feet. xD Unfortuently the pants were too difficult to draw, so I just made them plain black. I tried using tone in this one. c:
So yeah.... Hope you liked my drawings, and if you have some submissions of your own, send them to Matt. :D

Cartoon icon tutorial
Okay, so here's how to make a cartoon icon of yourself, with your own features, clothing, hair etc. If you have photo shop you can use that, if you don't you can download paint.net from the internet.
Step 1: Google "tumblr cartoon icons" and pick one you like.
Step 2: Open it into your editing program:
Step 3: add a layer.
Step 4: Trace around the main features with black paintbrush (If you want your own unique hair, don't trace the hair)
Step 5: Add clothing and colour in with colours you want. My example is very basic.
Step 6: Now is my favourite part: THE HAIR! You can do it how ever you want, this is my example.
Step 7: Pick some skin colour and hair colour that matches your own, and you're done your cartoon!!
Step 8: Now make the background white and use paintbrush and write your name. THEN YOU'RE DONE!

Cartoon icons
Ello again guys!!
I know this isn't exactly drawing, but at the same time it kinda is. It's just creating an image on your computer in which you can use for heaps of different websites and social networking. Last time I mentioned cartoon icons, mostly used for tumblr accounts. I've been practicing and actually making some, and I find them really cool and interesting to make. I've actually been making them for people on tumblr, which is really awesome, and they're using them. I use paint.net, but most people use photo shop. Here's one I made for myself, with a dress design of mine.
If you want, I might make my next post a step-by-step tutorial on how to make your very own cartoon icon using a template. I only use the template for the face personally, but starting off a lot of you might use it for the body shape and stuff.
PS: Sorry for not posting for a while, a lot has gone on in my life in the last few weeks. Including breaking up with my boyfriend of nearly 11 months.. which was pretty hard on me. I've also got year 12 this year, so I'll try posting maybe on a weekly basis.

Upcoming, from Shelly
Hello there, my fellow drawers and bakers!
So, I guess I should explain my inactivity a bit.
First it was laziness, but then my computer crashed. We fixed it, but it still held me up a bit. Heh, sorry.
But, there's some good news: tomorrow I'm going to do some baking, and I'll have a new recipe for you to try. Won't that be good?
Alright, well I'm going to sort some more stuff. Have a good one!

Patchwork Jumper
Hello fellow, drawers and bakers !
Matt here with a new design, its not a dress this time, but a jumper, It was my first time ever drawing a jumper - It was quite hard especially with the type of manikin I had used..
Anyways, It is a patch work design, If you don't know what patch work is, its pretty much sewing different squares of material to make a quilt or a item of clothing (like what I have done)
Don't forget to check out the contest page here for the latest contest, its a drawing contest and you could win a $20 game gift card of your choice if you win
And as always, Love Matt

Ello again guys. :D
So for this post, I decided to show you one of my dress designs. This is an old design, that I redrew a few days ago. I started designing a few years ago, and while I think the designs themselves are alright, the figure work I find hard to work out. So in redrawing the design, I decided to make it a cartoon version, inspired by the very popular cartoon tumblr icons. (pictured below)
In using this as a inspiration, It helped me greatly with my design. Here is a picture of my dress design using the computer cartoon:
I made it a little different to the first cartoon, only using it as a template. Don't be afraid to do this, as it helps mature your drawing skill until you can do it on your own.
I then decided to take it a step further using paint.net, by making a computer made version of this design. I used the first cartoon computer image as a template, changing the hair and clothing to match my design. Here it is:
I personally don't find the computer made design as textual, but anyway.
I like to make my clothing designs a little different and unique. So if you don't like different, you may not like my designs. I use mixed colours in many of my designs, and added detail to some places. I hope you like the different ways I displayed my design.
Expect to be seeing more of my designs. c:
Have a good day.

Ello guys,
So for my first post, I'm going to be talking about drawing journals. This is where you can draw anything you want, and what ever you're feeling at that particular time. This journal is basically a diary, except instead of words you're using drawings and pictures. It's a good idea to buy a small visual diary, so it's easier to carry around. Here's some examples from my drawing journal.
Here is one of my most recent drawings. I drew this while listening to music, and that inspired me to draw him. I used a photo of him as a template for the outline, then just did the rest myself.
(Sorry for the long post)
I highly advise having a drawing journal, I personally find it a lot more efficient and fun than a normal diary. Feel free to submit photos of your drawing from your drawing journal to Matt at: mattybonbons@gmail.com
Thanks for reading my post, expect to hear more from me. c:
